This is a great way for first time owners to get into the sport,
you can buy as many or as few shares as you please.
Each share retains the residual value that the horse was
purchased for, and the second year "buy in"
is calculated on the horses expenses alone.
for example: a share equals 1% costing $800.00
(based on horse price $50 000 and expenses of $30 000/year)
would retain value of $500 at end of first year and second year
"buy in" would equal $300.00 per share for the next 12 months.
